Password Reset

Account passwords expire every 90 days. Users will be notified by e-mail when their password is set to expire. Failure to reset an expired password within a given window of time will result in account lockout, requiring the BSBC administrator to unlock the account. You may contact the BSBC administrator by e-mail at regarding account lockout or other password issues.

Use the following password integrity enforcement guidelines for creating your new password:

  • Passwords are case sensitive
  • No portion of a user’s first name, last name or user id may be used in the password
  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length
  • All passwords must adhere to at least two of the the following criteria:
    • Passwords must contain a mixture of upper and lower case
    • Passwords must contain at least one number
    • Passwords must contain at least one symbol
