The 500 MHz NMR is primary used by the natural and synthetic research groups. The broadband observed probe is most often used on the JEOL 500, allowing direct detection of 1H, 13C, 31P, 19F, 15N and other esoteric nuclei. The system has a Z-axis gradient, auto-tunable and is capable of variable temperature studies.
