Oberlies Group Receives the 2020 Ōmura Award for Best Original Article in the Journal of Antibiotics

Congratulations to Drs. Noemi Paguigan, Diana Kao, Huzefa Raja, Tamam El-Elimat, Cedric Pearce, and Nicholas Oberlies for receiving the Ōmura Award for Best Original Article by the Editorial Board of the Journal of Antibiotics. This award is for their article on the use of mass defect filtering when analyzing fungal metabolites. The award is named after Dr. Satoshi Ōmura, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2015 for his work on the discovery of avermectins and ivermectin.
