Photo12The triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is equipped with an electrospray ionization source. It is coupled to a quaternary pump conventional flow HPLC system. This instrument is used for the analysis and quantitation of complex, non-volatile samples such as biological fluids and plant extracts.

  • Available Ionization: micro ESI, APCI and APPI
  • LC-MS capabilities: Coupled to quaternary HPLC system (HP1100, Agilent) with UV-Vis diode array detector
  • Mass range: m/z 30-3000, small molecules to intact proteins

DSC2306The ion trap mass spectrometer is equipped with electrospray and nanospray ionization sources. It is coupled to both conventional flow and capillary HPLC systems. This instrument is used extensively for analysis of complex, non-volatile samples such as biological fluids and plant extracts.

synaptThe qTOF mass spectrometer is used for the analysis of proteins, oligonucleotides and small molecules. For MALDI proteomics experiments that require separation, we employ a plate spotter (Probot, Dionex) interfaced to a capillary HPLC (HP1100, Agilent Technologies).

  • In-line Acquity UPLC system for routine separations and ionization via ESI
  • Off-line LC-MALDI capabilities
  • Routine operation produces 20,000 FWHM mass resolving power (over 40,000 available in high resolution mode)

The instrument is attached to an autosampler capable of holding up to 125 samples. Additionally, there is NIST database searching capabilities for compound identification.
