Congratulations to Zanyha and Thomas!!! Both are reciepts of the Undergraduate Research and Creativity Award (URCA) administered by UNCG’s Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creativity Office (URSCO).
Zanyha will be working to understand how the fungal pathogen Candida auris grows in metal-modulated envrionments.
Thomas will be synthesizing Ru-complexes for biofilm prevention.

The lab was awarded an Internal Research Award via the Division of Research and Engagement!!!!
Funds will be used to obtain preliminary data on cellular architecure of C. albicans hyphae grown in metal-modulated conditions.
