Dr. Duffy earned a B.A. degree in Chemistry from Boston University in 1988, a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995 (mentor: Prof. Tomas Baer), and was a National Research Council – Research Associate in the Physics Department at Duke University for 1996-99 under the direction Dr. David Skatrud.  (See CV for more details)

  • Will Styers - Will graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and is now working on his Ph.D with the Mcmahon and Woods research group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • Erin Edwards - Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 with a BA in chemistry.
  • Elizabeth Williams - Elizabeth graduated with a BA degree in chemistry with secondary teaching licensure and  he is now teaching chemistry at Western High School in Alamance County NC.
  • Joseph Krenicky - Joseph is an undergraduate physics major with diverse interests.  He has conducted research in different departments including Mathematics.
