Vacuum Thermoforming Covid HEPA masks

Some HEPA filters from air purifiers are capable of filtering virus droplets.   Over the summer, Dr. Duffy created a setup for vacuum thermoforming plastic into mask shells onto which 3M HEPA filter material is attached.  The setup was placed in the chemistry department over the summer so that students, staff and faculty could make their own masks.  The setup is described on Thingiverse and videos of the department setup and how to videos part 1 and 2.
