Prof. Chiu has a diverse educational background and training which included pre-clinical studies as well as industrial research experience.
With a smaller group size, every member in the Chiu group has direct and frequent one-to-one contact with Prof. Chiu. Furthermore, almost everyone in the Chiu group has his/her own independent research project. Hence, depending on the experimental data, students could become the first author in our peer-reviewed publications.
