Graduate Students
For students interest in joining the lab in 2026, please visit the UNCG Chemistry and Biochemistry department’s graduate program website to learn more on how to apply. We cannot directly accept students into our group. Instead, during your first Fall semester at UNCG, you will have the opportunity to meet with many members of the faculty so you can find the best lab that fits your research interests and goals. If you have any questions about our lab or UNCG during the application process, do not hesitate to email us.
Undergraduate Students
If you are interested, please send us an email with your CV (resume), research experience if any, future goals, and why you are interested in the Nascimento lab. In addition to completing research, you are also expected to attend weekly lab meetings. Students who can make a long term commitment, such as sophomores and juniors, are particularity encouraged to apply and will be given preference.
