In collaboration with her postdoc adviser Dr. Marilyne Stains (University of Virginia) and her colleagues Dr. Jordan Harshman (Auburn University) and Annika Kraft (University of Virginia), Dr. Popova published a paper in CERP titled “Changes in teaching beliefs of early-career chemistry faculty: a longitudinal investigation.” One of the unique features of this work, is the use of cluster analysis as an exploratory tool to support the identification of associations within qualitative data. Given the longitudinal nature of this study, this project has taken 5 years of hard work from a team of 4 researchers.
