Lu was honored with the Distinguished Postdoctoral Researcher in Chemistry Award from the American Institute of Chemists!

Lu has proven to be a fantastic team member. She is very knowledgeable and skilled and does a great job completing tasks independently and in collaboration with others. Lu brings a unique blend of expertise in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. She has been directly involved in mentoring one graduate student, one postbac, and one undergraduate student in the Popova group. She is deeply passionate about helping and supporting others. Besides being an excellent researcher and mentor, Lu serves on our Department’s DEIA committee. Specifically, she has been co-leading the data analysis from the climate survey. Lu’s hard work and dedication to mentoring others are truly inspiring!
