The Popova Group is very excited to welcome our first postdoc, Dr. Lyniesha Wright Ward!

A warm welcome to Dr. Lyniesha Wright Ward who joined the Popova group as a Postdoctoral Scholar!

Lyniesha recently earned her PhD in Dr. Maria Oliver-Hoyo group at NCSU. Lyniesha’s graduate school research focused on designing evidence-based instructional materials to teach spectroscopy to organic chemistry undergraduates. As an outcome of these research activities, she designed and developed two educational products – a novel laboratory activity to learn about IR spectroscopy and an augmented reality mobile application to learn about 1H NMR spectroscopy. Her research has been also published in CER journals:
