The Popova Research Group celebrated 1 year anniversary!
What an amazing year this was! Just a year ago we were a group of 1. And now we are a team of 7! We worked really hard and accomplished a lot in just one year! Our accomplishments include:
- Building of a team!
- Opening of the group’s research space!
- First poster presentation on group’s research findings (at MICER conference)!
- First invited talk on group’s research findings (at STEM Transformation Institute at FIU)!
- An internal RISE UNCG grant award!
- An external NSF grant award!
- Besides the group’s research, Dr. Popova also worked on wrapping up some studies from her graduate school and her postdoc and published two papers!
We are very thankful to everyone who was there to support us along the way and we look forward to what is to come!
