Dr. Kimberly Petersen Receives Mary Settle Sharp Award

Dr. Kimberly Petersen has received the Mary Settle Sharp Award for Teaching Excellence. This award recognizes outstanding success in facilitating student learning (including consistent success in making complex ideas understandable and meaningful to the students), evidence of innovation and creativity in teaching, the establishment and maintenance of high academic standards, support for the academic and professional pursuits of students (including mentoring and advising students); and demonstrated leadership in teaching (including disciplinary, departmental, and university- wide contributions, presentations, and publications). Congrats Dr. Petersen!
