MS Chemistry
The Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry requires completion of at least 30 semester hours of graduate level courses. Coursework includes a core of advanced courses in each of the four major areas of chemistry (analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical), as well as courses in other areas. Students must write a Master’s thesis based on original research carried our under the direction of a faculty advisor. In addition, students gain experience in professional speaking by preparing and presenting two public seminars.
